The Fault in our Stars

This young adult novel provides simple graphic elements and contrasting colours to create a strong suite of promotional collateral. The specially handwritten chalk-like text – containing many iterations of certain letters – is used for powerful, descriptive words and quotes, complimenting the book’s title / author treatment, and capturing the target audience with a grungy look and feel. Cyan is used on copy and as a background to further compliment the cover artwork, and yellow is introduced to ensure important information stands out. The cloud shapes are also used as a device to house photography and copy.
